OÜ Hõbeda Mõis is a family business that started its activities in 2015.
In the spring of 2015, the first 12 “mild” goat girls of the Swedish native breed were bought and a very exciting and completely new period in our lives began.
The Hõbeda goat farm is located on the lands of the former Hõbeda manor. The first records of the manor date back to 1459. Since. The last owner of the manor (in 1919) was Baron Nikolai Dellingshausen. Hõbeda Manor was a subsidiary manor of Aaspere Manor, where dairy cattle farming was mainly practiced. Another granary made of fieldstone and a former dairy and cellar have been preserved from the old times.
We are located 75 km east of Tallinn. In total, there is about 10 hectares of usable meadow. The property also has a barn with a total area of 700 m2 and 4 ha of limited pasture where goats can freely go in and out. At one end of the barn, we have set up a milking parlour and a dairy dairy.
